InventHelp Inventor Develops Oil Drum Lid Lifter (LVT-144)
PITTSBURGH, Feb. 17, 2020 /PRNewswire/ — It’s safe to say that specialized tools geared for a particular task make the job easier. That’s exactly why an inventor from Las Vegas, Nev., designed one specifically for removing oil drum caps.
He developed DRUM CAP REMOVER to ease the chore of opening a 55-gallon oil drum. As such, it eliminates the need to use the conventional method of opening the drum with a wrench or ratchet. At the same time, it preserve the drum cap for reuse, eliminating the expense of replacing broken drum caps. Since it saves time and effort, it also improves productivity. Safe, durable and easy to use, this invention is also versatile for use with various types of drum caps. In addition, its simple design minimizes production costs.
The inventor’s work experience as a warehouse supervisor inspired the idea. «This is a much more efficient way to get an otherwise time and labor intensive task done,» he said.
The original design was submitted to the Las Vegas sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
